Professional Bio:
Derek started off as an electrician in Pittsburgh before receiving a bachelors degree from Penn State University in Landscape Contracting & Design. After college Derek moved to Washington, DC where he worked with one of the leading landscape lighting companies in the country. During his 10 years with them he designed and installed lighting at historic & award winning properties.
Derek is now living in New Braunfels, Texas with his Texan wife to be closer to family. He hopes to design lighting for you and bring a unique, safer and illuminating experience through the lighting design process.

We meet with you in person to create a lighting experience like no other. Functionality, safety, aesthetics and your preferences are all examined when designing illumination at your house. Live Oak Lighting has relationships with a multitude of manufacturers to choose the best options for your property throughout the United States. The owner will meet with you in person, and analyze you property and take into consideration the landscaping and provider you with multiple lighting concepts to choose from.
